Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Brings Auto-Drive, New Vehicles, and Mac Support
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 adds auto-drive, new vehicles, photo mode upgrades, gameplay fixes, and launches on Apple Silicon Macs for the first time.

CD Projekt Red has officially launched Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3, rolling out today for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The highly anticipated update introduces a slew of new features, including self-driving vehicles, new car models, photo mode enhancements, and crucial bug fixes. In a major milestone, the game also becomes available on Apple Silicon Macs for the first time.
🚘 Auto-Drive and On-Demand Cabs
The standout feature in this update is the auto-drive system, allowing players to select a destination and have their owned vehicle automatically drive there. The feature automatically disengages if the car is damaged or during combat. A cinematic camera mode enhances the experience during transit.
Players can also summon Delamain self-driving cabs directly via the vehicle menu, available after completing the “Don’t Lose Your Mind” quest.
🏍️ Four New Vehicles & Paint Customization
Four new vehicles are being added:
- Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru
- Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”
- Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa
- Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila
These can be unlocked through side missions or the Autofixer system. Additionally, the CrystalCoat customization feature now supports more cars and bikes. A cracked paint version is also available for lower-tier vehicles.
🛠️ Gameplay Fixes & Improvements
- Resolved low fire-rate issue with automatic weapons
- Fixed controller aiming in Trauma Drama mission
- Players can now collect more Cyberware Capacity Shards
- Resolved bug with BARGHEST Tac Vest not dropping
- Level 60 Engineer perk no longer triggers EMP outside combat
- Tutorial can now be replayed via Settings > Controls
🧩 Bug Fixes in Missions & World
- Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual now clears from Journal
- Sex on Wheels appears after message from Jake Estevez
- Shot by Both Sides quest issues fixed
📸 Revamped Photo Mode
Photo mode has been upgraded with:
- Ability to spawn up to 27 NPCs
- Character outfit switching
- New camera filters and effects
- Advanced colour balance and depth-of-field controls

On Apple Silicon Macs:
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for M-series Mac users, downloadable via the Mac App Store, Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store, provided system requirements are met.
